Sometimes life is not made to be simple. You rise and conquer. You are tired yet at peace. You plant one foot on top of the pile of carcasses, foes that have been your life's tragedies. You climb to the top of the highest tower to claim your crown and glory. One slip and you tumble down. Breaking ribs, bruising your pride, crushing all that once made you who you are. You sit at the bottom and cry. The crowds and their cheers are gone. You are alone. Forgotten. All accomplishments are swept away with the mist. You're lost. There is no one to hear you cry. You bleed, you are not invincible. You lay down and find the ground cold, hard and barren
